Shannon Sharpe has officially left the Undisputed after seven long years of partnership with Skip Bayless. The former TE also bid an emotional farewell in his last episode.
This time Bayless tried to return the favor for the former Denver Broncos TE and gave a heartfelt speech for him. Interestingly, Bayless also took the opportunity to declare the continuation of the influential talk show.
The NFL analyst recently appeared on his eponymous podcast and spoke extensively about the future of the ‘Undisputed’. Although, he didn’t speak anything about the replacement of Sharpe.
“I got news for you FS1 is here to stay. Undisputed is alive and very well going on seven years. As we look very forward to our eighth NFL season, are you ready for some football? I sure am; I can’t wait for this fall when the Eagles are gonna fall,” Skip Bayless stated.
While announcing the return of Undisputed for the next season, Bayless also took an uncalled shot at the Philadelphia Eagles. Bayless hates the Eagles with complete dedication due to his love for the Dallas Cowboys.
Skip also paid tribute to Shannon Sharpe and shared many details about their partnership that lasted for 7 years. However, he didn’t share the reason behind Sharpe’s removal from the show.

Skip Bayless bid farewell to Shannon Sharpe with an emotional tribute

Shannon Sharpe was regarded as one of the most influential NFL analysts, along with his counterpart Skip Bayless. Both formed a formidable partnership on the screen. Their contradictory personality really helped make the show more interesting.
However, the partnership has ended now and Bayless will probably have a new replacement in the coming days. Still, the Fox Sports analyst didn’t forget to thank Sharpe for his great contribution to the show and wished him the best for his future journey.
“I’m going to miss my man Shannon Sharpe and all he did for me, all he brought to Undisputed, but I can’t wait for what’s next for Undisputed. See you soon,” Skip Bayless stated.
FS1 Undisputed was their most successful studio-based show, with an average audience of 173,000. However, now there’s a cause for concern, as many believe the replacement won’t be able to perform on the level of Shannon Sharpe. Regardless, Skip Bayless is still headlining the show and will bring something new to it.
