“EXTREMELY Impressive”: Skip Bayless dubs Tom Brady’s ICONIC game-winning drive against the Rams as MASTERFUL
Tom Brady's game-winning drive left Skip Bayless astounded.
Tom Brady turned back time last night in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers‘ matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. The quarterback had just one minute to bring his team back from a 9-13 deficit. In the final drive that won the team the game, he was able to successfully convert the play into a touchdown that put Tampa back on top.
The Bucs did not have a single timeout left. It was all on Tom’s shoulders, and he carried the team to a much-needed victory. His performance was amazing, and that drive was one that had all our eyes glued to the TV. The game had other highlights as well, such as Brady becoming the only quarterback to have 100,000 passing yards, and he ended up overtaking Peyton Manning in terms of total game-winning drives.
Skip Bayless, the analyst on Fox Sports, had high praise for the quarterback after his performance. Here’s what Skip had to say on Undisputed. “Brady has become masterful at getting rid of the football. He has to get rid of it(football) but doesn’t throw it to the other team. He leads the whole NFL in touchdown to interception ratio with 10 to only 1. He’s thrown almost 400 straight passes since the Dallas game without an interception“
Elaborating further, Skip stated, “When you are on a team that is pretty lousy all the way around… Mike Evans on the first catch of the game after he dropped the first (pass). Tom Brady’s receivers dropped 8 passes yesterday. Chris Godwin just hasn’t been able to bounce back from a complete rebuild of his ACL.”

Skip Bayless believes Tom Brady had to endure a higher degree of difficulty in the victory against the Rams:
Skip Bayless believes that the Buccaneers have big-time wideouts, but none of them have been living up to their potential this season. Julio Jones is injury-riddled, Chris Godwin is a shell of himself, and Mike Evans’s chemistry with Tom Brady appears to have reduced. “He(Julio Jones) has not been the same guy, it got so bad in a third-down pass, “he slipped down,” Skip stated.
Coming to Tampa Bay’s defense, Skip believes they did play great but their opponents were not good enough. “They (defense) played great but they played great against what? They played great against sorry.”
“Post-divorce, after (Tom Brady) got that whole thing over and out, cleared the decks, he looked sharper and more focused yesterday than I have seen him all year. When things did go wrong, he didn’t lose it like the way he has been losing it where he’s been throwing tablets and throwing fits. I didn’t see any fit throwing.”
Skip Bayless is loving this Tom Brady. The quarterback now appears to be enjoying himself once more. He is more focused than he has been this entire year and rather than attempting to get his teammates in line; the quarterback is leading by example.
