Aaron Rodgers has undoubtedly been the most talked about NFL player this offseason. This has been due to his ‘big-money’ move to the New York Jets from the Green Bay Packers. The Jets‘ QB faced massive criticism last season due to his abysmal performance. After securing one of the most expensive trades of all time, Rodgers was in the public eye yet again and many analysts and journalists are taking shots at the veteran QB.
Recently, Skip Bayless featured on his personal podcast and spoke about the three most overrated players in sports. The astounding list included the veteran QB who is a Super Bowl winner while also being a back-to-back MVP. Bayless believes that Rodgers is ‘overrated’ and ‘overhyped’ by the media and many of his fans.
“Aaron Rodgers is not that guy, over-hyped, overrated, you can have those four MVPs, you can have the greatest throw of football ever, you can have all those stunning off-platform throws, all products of some of the worst footwork I have ever seen,” Skip stated on his podcast.
This is not the first time Skip Bayless has criticized Rodgers. The NFL analyst has often called out the former Packers QB for just winning a solitary Super Bowl in his longstanding career.

Skip Bayless believes Aaron Rodgers is still living off his solitary Super Bowl win
Rodgers is regarded as one of the best QBs of this generation for his amazing skill and consistency. Sadly, his form has faltered massively in the past couple of seasons.
According to Skip Bayless, the Packers MVP winner is still living off his solitary Super Bowl win and has nothing to offer other than that. He also stated that Rodgers has a losing record in the postseason.
“Heck, you can also have that Super Bowl that Aaron Rodgers won long ago, far away galaxy, far, far away, he’s still living off that. Since that Super Bowl, Rodgers is 7-9 in the postseason, think about that, 7-9 and his seven wins are almost all flawed with asterisks,” Skip Bayless stated.
Aaron Rodgers has been pretty vocal in front of the media, and that has led to multiple controversies. Bayless also pointed out the same thing and believes the Jets’ QB always uses ‘blame-deflection’ and ‘finger-pointing’ to suit his purposes.
