Aaron Rodgers is once again hinting at a departure from the Green Bay Packers after an ugly performance in a must-win game. The reigning NFL MVP didn’t have a good season but believes he can perform at the highest level under the right circumstances.
After winning back-to-back MVP awards, Rodgers’ 2022 NFL season was one to forget. Under his leadership, the Packers went 8-9 and failed to clinch a playoff spot. Furthermore, Rodgers had an abysmal outing against the Detroit Lions in a must-win home game. The Lions, who were already eliminated from the playoffs ended up eliminating the Packers from the postseason contention. Furthermore, many people started speculating about the 39-year-old QB over his actions after losing the game.
The 4-time league MVP added fuel to the speculations by saying that he will take some time to make a decision regarding his future in the league during the post-game press conference. “It’s a little raw right now,” Aaron Rodgers said in the press conference. “It’s just a little bit after the game, so (I) want to take the emotion out of it and have conversations and see where the organization’s at and see how I feel after some time has passed.”
Amidst this crazy situation, Fox Sports analyst Skip Bayless has come out and thrashed Aaron Rodgers for his repeated failures in the postseason and the off-season trade drama every year.

Speaking in his show UNDISPUTED with Shannon Sharpe, Bayless started his rant by harshly criticizing the Packers quarterback. “From day one on this show and dating back to my time on the other show, I have called out this man for what he is, a blame-deflecting, finger-pointing diva of the highest order,” said Bayless about Rodgers.
Bayless went on to compare Rodgers with Tom Brady and actually praised Rodgers for his arm talent. “He’s low on intangibles, Brady high on intangibles but Brady doesn’t have near the talent that this man has in his arm cause this arm talent as you (Sharpe) said from day one on this show is transcended,” said Bayless about Rodgers.
Skip Bayless then went on to thrash Rodgers for being a choke artist. “This guy is a choke artist, I don’t care what you say, he’s a choke artist and I can show you game after game after game,” said Bayless about Aaron Rodgers. “But the joke is on the Packers, I’m sorry, they gave him his, they gave him his guaranteed money, they’re stuck.”
Aaron Rodgers has already said that he needs time to make a decision regarding his future. However, it’s highly unlikely that we will see the Packers quarterback in any other jersey.
