“Super Bowl or bust?” Skip Bayless WARNS Aaron Rodgers about the ‘ruthless’ and ‘unfair’ New York media following his Jets trade
Aaron Rodgers finally made his move from the Packers to the New York Jets but Skip Bayless isn't convinced about the quarterback succeeding at his new franchise

The drama surrounding Aaron Rodgers’ future in the league and with the Packers is officially and he is officially a New York Jets player now. He ended his 17-year-long association with the Green Bay Packers, as the Jets traded away 3 picks from the NFL draft this year, along with a conditional draft pick to be executed in 2024.
The Jets did pay a huge price for Rodgers to make the move, but in all fairness owner Woody Johnson lived up to his promise from the 202/23 season, after their appalling fourth-place finish in the AFC East division. However, the trade has also raised certain questions regarding how effective Rodgers would be especially after his performances last season.
Rodgers had his worst season last time out with the Green Bay Packers, wherein they failed to qualify for the playoffs. This urged popular NFL analyst, Skip Bayless to ponder over the question that whether Rodgers’ trade to the Jets would be a successful one eventually.
Skip Bayless remains sceptical of the Jets trading Aaron Rodgers

Bayless remained sceptical of Rodgers’ success, claiming that it will be a big change of environment for the veteran quarterback even with the media pressure off the gridiron.
Skip Bayless felt that he had it easy in terms of media pressure during his time at the Green Bay Packers, and that might take a toll on his performances in the new environment.
“As soon as I heard this, I tweeted, Super Bowl or Bust. I’ve never been the biggest Aaron Rodgers fan, you have for a while… He had his worst year last year, and it’s not even close, he fell off the proverbial cliff. I’m not saying he can’t climb back up the cliff, depending on what his mindset is,” Bayless stated on the Undisputed show.
He continued: “He also said he went into his darkness retreat, came out and wasn’t sure whether he wanted to play or not. Well your heart be better way in this, now you’re going to have to deal with the New York media as opposed to the Green Bay media, and I have hard regard for those guys, because I know a lot of them and they’re not soft, but they ain’t these guys.”
“These guys are ruthless, these guys are not ever fair, atleast the Green Bay Milwaukee are fair, they’re tough but fair. I looked across the board to see the numbers he put up the board and his passing yards were the lowest, his career interceptions were the highest.”
