Former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown once again found himself in the midst of a controversy. Brown had a warrant out for his arrest in Florida after he allegedly failed to pay child support to his ex-girlfriend.
However, Antonio Brown immediately refuted any claims of skipping on the child support payment. He posted a screenshot of his $33,260.58 payment to Florida Child Support. AB owed this large sum to Wiltrice Jackson, his ex-girlfriend with whom he shares a daughter.
Brown appeared on WRGB-TV on Saturday and addressed the claims. He said, “Yeah, well, first off, anytime you say a guy [owns] a team, there’s going to be some garnish in the wages, but let’s get this clear: I paid my bills, I’m a professional. It’s about running the Empire and running the business. We don’t need negativity on my name, it’s bigger than me.”

Fans ask Antonio Brown to pay his child support and not share fake images as proof

Unfortunately for Antonio Brown, this isn’t the first controversy he has been involved in. A few months back, AB circulated a NSFW video of his ex Chelsie Kyriss performing oral sex on him on Snapchat. He was heavily criticized for his actions and Snapchat immediately shut down his account. AB claimed that his Snapchat account was hacked and the explicit videos and photos being circulated weren’t his doing.
Despite showing proof that he has in fact paid his child support, fans on social media weren’t convinced of his honesty. Fans demanded strict action against the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver and not let him walk on small technicalities. Here’s how fans reacted to Antonio Brown’s tweet after news broke out of his arrest.
As of April 2023, Antonio Brown owns the Albany Empire of the National Arena League (NAL). During the Empire’s season-opening game against the Orlando Predators in New York, Brown had a heated argument with a security guard. The guard asked AB to leave the area, but he refused to do so saying he is the owner. Brown was asked to exit the stadium for “safety reasons.”
