It’s not often that players from different games show up together for a photo, but when they do, it usually breaks the internet. This was the case when two-time NBA champion Kevin Durant posed with Super Bowl winner Aaron Rodgers.

One’s season just ended, and the other’s about to begin. For players like Durant and Rodgers, who produce goods every year, working hard in the off-season is important. No matter how gifted a player is, they put in the extra effort to master their art.

Another aspect of being a great sportsperson is to have mutual respect for each other. The two were spotted together on the practice court and also hit the gym.

Proactive Sports Performance first posted the photo on their Instagram account. They wrote, “Whentwo MVPs walk into the gym.”

Furthermore, Durant posted the same photo on his Instagram story with the caption, “Ima JetMander fan. Don’t ask no questions.”

Images like these always light up the internet with either praise or trolls from those who are not so fond of the individuals. Even two of the most recognized sports personalities cannot escape them.

If you compare their recent histories, both of them left their previous teams this year. Durant traded the Brooklyn Nets for the Phoenix Suns this February. Even after moving to a different team, Durant is as consistent as ever. He helped the Suns finish as the fourth seed in the Western Conference.

Durant finished the season with 29.1 points, 6.7 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.4 blocks. He had a shooting average of 56.0% from the field and 40.4% from the three-point range. Those numbers are not too shabby, which shows how technically gifted Durant is.

Rodgers, on the other hand, had a decent season even though the Packers finished with a negative 8-9 record after 17 games. The four-time pro bowler scored 26 touchdowns from 3695 passing yards with an average of 4.8%. Besides that, he got intercepted 12 times, the second-worst return of his career.

After the season wrapped up, Rodgers ended his 18-year stay in Wisconsin and chose to move to the Big Apple and sign with the New York Jets. There were even rumors that Rodgers had turned down the Patriots. The 39-year-old will be looking to have a strong start in the 2023 season.

Robert Saleh, the head coach of the Jets, only has high praise for the Super Bowl MVP. They will face the Buffalo Bills on opening week, and a fit Rodgers can definitely do some damage.
