The Miami Dolphins surprised everyone by going toe-toe with Josh Allen and the Super Bowl contenders, the Buffalo Bills while missing their star quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa. The Dolphins heartbreakingly lost to the Bills due to poor time management in the final minutes of the fourth quarter. And now, their head coach, Mike McDaniel, is blamed for the loss after a video surfaced online that shows McDaniel allegedly vaping on the sidelines.
The Game ended in a bizarre fashion, as the Miami Dolphins found themselves facing a 4th and one around the midfield while trailing by three points in the final minutes of the fourth quarter. For whatever reason, the play call from the offensive coordinator came at the last second of the 40-second play clock, and it caused a delay in the game, which resulted in a 5-yard penalty.
Furthermore, the last-second play call was not but a handoff to the running back, which further confused the fans. The Dolphins’ fans started questioning the weird sequence of events on social media, and that’s when the video of McDaniel hitting a vape went viral.
In the video, the head coach was discreetly doing something resembling someone hitting a vape. Furthermore, the rookie HC was hiding the device that looked like a JUUL in his black glove. The video started to quickly spread online, and many people started to call out McDaniel about it.
Social media questions Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel
The Dolphins fans on social media were disgusted by this act of alleged vaping by their 1st-year HC Mike McDaniel. He was hired as the head coach by the Dolphins in the 2022 NFL off-season. Soon, they started trashing the head coach for the loss to the Bills.

Moreover, the fans blamed McDaniels vaping as the reason for the delay in the play calling during the 4th down, which eventually ended up costing them the game. The Dolphins didn’t have a timeout, and the Bills proceeded to run the clock out with their ground game.
However, the coach was doing well to hang in with the Bills while missing their star quarterback but failed to capitalize on his chances to close out the game. Their 3rd string QB Skylar Thompson did better than most expected him to do as he finished the game with 220 passing yards and one touchdown.
The Miami-based franchise’s roller coaster of a season comes to an end as they’ve been eliminated from the playoffs. Nevertheless, the Dolphins did receive some good news as the doctors cleared their franchise, QB Tua Tagovailoa, to continue playing football in 2023.
