The entire NFL knows by now that Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner loves his Jewelz. He loves to share that side of him often when he’s not sweating out on the field. But he also likes to gift them to his friends as well. Recently, the 22-year-old honored his new teammate, Aaron Rodgers, with a necklace.
When the New York Jets finished their latest training camp on Saturday, Gardner met up with Rodgers. He gave the quarterback a two-inch-tall diamond-encrusted necklace with the number 8 pendant. Incidentally, that is the same number that the 10-time Pro Bowler will wear for the Jets in the new season.
Gardner was giddy while showing the necklace and revealed that the jeweler who made the ornament is a massive Aaron Rodgers fan. When last season’s NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year heard about it, he immediately wanted to commission something for Rodgers.
“You’re my jeweler’s favorite quarterback,” Gardner can be heard saying to the Super Bowl winner. “Al the jeweler wanted to cook up something special for you.” Upon hearing this, Rodgers showed his gratitude towards his young colleague and asked him to put the gift around his neck.
“We wanted to welcome him to New York,” Al, the Jewler Bekdas, told USA Today, whose shop is only 10 miles away from the Jets facility in Florham Park, New Jersey. “We didn’t want to do anything too crazy.” He was overjoyed to see Rodgers wearing one of his creations.
Aaron Rodgers played 18 seasons for the Green Bay Packers. He has 59,055 passing yards with 475 touchdowns and 105 interceptions. On April 26, 2023, Rodgers became a New York Jets player.

Did the Jets players fight during their training session?
The Jets have a hyped camp because of the new players and, most of all, the signing of Aaron Rodgers. They were hosting their first training session in front of a sold-out crowd. While most were eager to see how a four-time MVP calls play during practice, they were not ready to see a minor brawl.
On Saturday morning, allegedly, a fight broke out, and HBO’s Hard Knocks camera crew recorded everything. The clip shows defensive players Michael Clemons and Jermaine Johnson arguing and then starting a skirmish with Kenny Yeboah and Jeremy Ruckert. However, coach Robert Saleh did not disclose the reason behind the fight.
