Jets DT Solomon Thomas CLAIMS the locker room is already ‘buzzing’ unlike last year after Aaron Rodgers’ inclusion

Aaron Rodgers‘ arrival in New York is having a massive positive impact on the team. The veteran QB decided to change teams after an 18-year-long stint with the Green Bay Packers. On the other hand, the Jets are going through a tumultuous time and have failed to qualify for the playoffs for several years. However, Rodgers’ arrival has created a shift in momentum and the Jets can believe again.
Solomon Thomas is comparatively a new arrival in the team and will be playing his second season in New York. The Jets DT recently confessed that Rodgers arrival has created a drastic shift in the locker room.
“The room is buzzing right now — the building is buzzing — and it’s buzzing for a reason,” Thomas said in a recent press conference. “You bring in a solidified Hall of Famer like Aaron Rodgers and it’s going to change some things.”
He continued, “His leadership, his knowledge, the way he plays the game — you know he’s going to put up points and you know he’s going to play smart football. It brings a whole new youthfulness around this team, even for the vets.”
Thomas strongly believes that the Super Bowl winner can have a positive impact on the team. The Jets can ultimately challenge for the playoffs after the arrival of Super Bowl winner Aaron Rodgers.
Aaron Rodgers has put an end to Jets QB woes
The Jets were really struggling in the QB department after drafting Zach Wilson two seasons ago. The young QB was drafted as the face of the organization but bombed massively.
He was replaced by backup QB Mike White, who kept the team steady for a few months. However, the New York-based team can call an end to their QB woes after signing Aaron Rodgers.
The former Packers QB brings experience and is a true match-winner. The 4-time MVP is a future Hall of Famer who certainly has the capability to bring glory to New York.
Additionally, Aaron Rodgers has also created a decent bond with his teammates and was spotted going out to events with them. The 39-year-old will have massive expectations to perform next season and will be seen in action when the NFL season kicks off in September.
