Sports is not just about winning or losing games, it has evolved into an emotion for people, just take a look at the stands during every NFL game, while the fans of the winning team have a huge smile across their face and are jumping in excitement, the fans of the team who are losing will be sad and be the most religious that they have ever been with both their hands joined and praying that some miracle saves them.
It comes as no surprise that fan fights have become more of a common sight in the NFL, every game has at least a handful of fan fights, some of them just turn into violent ones whereas the remainder are quickly nipped at the bud, however, it is unusual to see fans fight over a preseason game because not only do they not matter but also teams do not even start their top players in these games.

Recently, the Jacksonville Jaguars played the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Jags lost as they always do but the highlight seems to be the fan fight in the stands. The game was a close one, with Steelers taking the win by one just 1 point which made the game an entertaining one, but the fight in the stands was much more entertaining.
The brawl was started by a Jaguars fan who swung first, what began as a verbal altercation quickly escalated into a physical fight with more and more fans getting involved. The actual reason for the fight is still yet to be ascertained, and the NFL seems to not care about it either because it is the preseason, the fans who were being violent were held back and quickly separated from one another before being escorted out of the stadium. It is doubtful they brawled over the game, probably was something more personal.
