The Buffalo Bills, led by their franchise quarterback, Josh Allen, once again faced an early exit from the postseason. It came following their heartbreaking loss against the Kansas City Chiefs in the divisional round. And now, just a couple of weeks after that loss, the Bills’ star wide receiver Stefon Diggs opens up about his future in Buffalo amidst trade speculations.
Diggs is currently in Florida, participating in this weekend’s Pro Bowl games. He was asked about his future in the league at the annual event. Diggs said he was uncertain about his future, but he was ready to go wherever the future took him, according to ESPN reporter Stephen Holder.

Furthermore, the reporter asked Diggs whether he was optimistic about his future in Buffalo. The 4-time All-Pro wide receiver didn’t commit to staying with the Bills. Diggs simply stated that he would take this off-season day by day.
I feel like I take it day by day. Obviously, there's a lot of changes going on, a lot of things going on. I can't really put the carriage before the horse, you know what I'm saying? But I got a great offseason in front of me to put a lot of work in and kind of build around what we got and what we're doing.Stefon Diggs via ESPN
Diggs is a massive asset for the Buffalo-based football team. He is one of the main reasons for Allen’s success, and the Bills would do anything to keep him on their roster. However, it seems like Diggs is eyeing a trade to another team or simply having second thoughts about playing for the Bills in 2024.
Bills can’t afford to lose wide receiver Stefon Diggs
The former All-Pro wide receiver Stefon Diggs is one of the league’s best pass catchers. The Bills can’t afford to move on from him since they already have some needs to address in the off-season.

In 2023, Diggs registered his 4th consecutive Pro Bowl campaign and 6th consecutive season with 1000-plus receiving yards. His production took a dip from the previous year, but he still registered 1,183 receiving yards and 8 touchdowns.
The Bills already need to address the lack of star power in their pass-rushing unit and their offensive line. So, they can’t just let Diggs — who still has four years left in his contract — walk away and search for his replacement.
