The Buffalo Bills’ WR Stefon Diggs is one of the best receivers in the league. Since joining the Bills in 2020, Diggs has established a phenomenal connection with his star QB Josh Allen. The duo have been one of the best in the league since then and the opponents have recognized that. They are now sending double teams toward Diggs and that has slowed the receiver’s otherwise elite production.

Against the Kansas City Chiefs last Sunday, Diggs accumulated a season-low 24 receiving yards. Although the Bills won the game, Allen was forced to spread the ball as Diggs was seeing double teams on almost every offensive snap. Naturally, the receiver was frustrated by his drop in production in the second half of the season due to attracting a lot of double teams.

Speaking to the reporters, Stefon Diggs said about his drop in production:

It’s rough, man. Even earlier in the year, I saw a lot of the double, but they’ve been doing a great job, especially when you put those first seven to eight games on tape of what you like to do and what you do. For me, personally, I’ve been trying, bro. I promise you I’ve been trying. It’s not because of me. Teams are doing a good job, we’ve got to continue to make plays and spread the ball around.
Stefon Diggs told the reporters

He further continued:

I’m going to be honest, it’s frustrating. A lot of things have to go right for me to get the ball. I get furious out there, like, want to say the F-word, but you know what I mean.

On Sunday against the Chiefs, Diggs finished with just 4 receptions for 24 yards.

So far this season, Diggs has racked up 993 receiving yards and 8 touchdowns on 87 receptions. He is averaging 11.4 yards per game and is on course to breach the 1,000-yard mark for the sixth consecutive season.

Stefon Diggs is looking forward to playing against his brother’s team this Sunday

The Buffalo Bills will take on the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. The Bills have Stefon Diggs whereas his brother, Trevon Diggs, plays for the Cowboys. This would have been the first time that these two would have played each other in the regular season. However, that will not be the case since Trevon is out for the season due to a torn ACL. The game still holds meaning for the Bills’ receiver though, as he talked about playing the Cowboys ahead of the game.

Stefon Diggs said:

Not as much as it did when I knew my brother was going to play, but I still want to get a win, I'm still out here grinding each and every day. Before the season we had a lot of conversations, me and my little brother talking a lot of smack, in other words, but it was something that we really looked forward to. Maybe in the future though.

These two have gone against each other in the Pro Bowl a couple of times. The Bills and Cowboys will enter their matchup on Sunday on the back of wins in their last games. The Bills defeated the Kansas City Chiefs, whereas the Cowboys destroyed the Philadelphia Eagles.
