The Buffalo Bills’ Stefon Diggs has had his fair share of drama in Buffalo. The superstar wide receiver hasn’t always been on the same page with his superstar QB Josh Allen throughout their four seasons together. Although they have been one of the best duos in the league, they have failed to lead the Bills to a Super Bowl.

They had a chance to do so on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs in the Divisional Round of the playoffs. However, the Bills lost the game 24-27 and were eliminated from the postseason. Diggs had a poor game as he accumulated only 21 yards on 3 receptions. He was responsible for a massive drop late in the game that would have given them a solid chance of scoring a touchdown.

After the game, the former Minnesota Vikings‘ receiver declined to talk to the reporters, according to NFL Network. Diggs refrained from speaking with the media following Buffalo’s wild-card victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers last week as well, according to the report.

The Bills have been to the playoffs in each of the last four seasons, but have been to the AFC Championship game only once, in 2021. They came into the season as one of the favorites to reach the title game, but failed to achieve that once again.

Bills’ GM Brandon Beane calls Stefon Diggs the team’s ‘No.1 receiver’ despite a poor season

The Buffalo Bills’ Stefon Diggs hasn’t had a great season. Although he racked up more than 1,000 receiving yards this season, he had a rough postseason.

The All-Pro receiver only had 3 receptions for 21 yards in the Bills’ Divisional Round loss against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. Buffalo’s GM Brandon Beane talked about Diggs’ down year.

He's a No. 1 receiver-I firmly believe that. I'm not wavering off of that. … We have to continue to put weapons out there to keep teams from bracketing him or locking him down in different ways. … Stef can still play. I know there's various reasons or questions on this, there's production and all that, but I still see Stef as a No. 1 receiver.
Beane said on Tuesday during the end-of-season press conference

The 30-year-old would only surpass 80 yards twice more this season after starting the year with five 100-yard performances in Buffalo’s first six games.

Including playoffs, he finished with receiving yardage totals in the 20s five times. In the first six weeks of 2023, he had 49 catches for 620 yards and five touchdowns, out of his total of 107 catches, 1,183 yards, and eight touchdowns.
