“He can be something spectacular” Stephen A. Smith affirmatively believes that WR Odell Beckham Jr can help Chiefs win the Super Bowl

Odell Beckham Jr. had been out of NFL action for many months as he suffered an ACL injury when he was with the Rams. This injury also made the Rams not extend his contract and the Super Bowl winner is currently a free agent.
Numerous teams are interested in signing the talented WR who has proven to be a match-winner with exceptional ability on and off the ball, but the most interesting one of them is the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Chiefs want to challenge for the Super Bowl this season as QB Patrick Mahomes has found his best form and TE Travis Kelce has been super impressive, but according to Stephen A. Smith something is missing and he may have an answer to that.
Stephen A. Smith was recently featured on ESPN and stated that Odell Beckham Jr. can help the Chiefs win the Super Bowl title as he adds many functionalities to their offense.
Although the Chiefs are still lethal on the offense scoring many points, Smith pointed out that since the departure of Tyreek Hill to the Dolphins, something has been missing in this side.
“I felt that way since they lost Tyreek Hill,” Stephen Smith stated on ESPN. “When you have a breakaway threat the way Tyreek Hill was, obviously Odell is not on that level but he can be something spectacular when he got his wheels available to him.”
Odell Beckham Jr. can offer the Chiefs a ‘deep threat’ in the offense
The only issue that the Chiefs may have in signing Odell Beckham Jr. can be their cap space, but they have recently restructured their deal with TE Travis Kelce to create further cap space and create rumors that something is coming. Even Travis Kelce is agitated and feels something is coming.
“I want them to come true,” Travis Kelce said of the rumors. “I haven’t heard anything. I have not heard anything in the locker room or anything around the facility. But I think that something’s in the air for sure. And if it means OBJ . . . alright now.”
The Chiefs TE is also putting up great numbers this season and has been a fundamental part of their offense, but Stephen A Smith believes that the Chiefs are lacking a deep threat which was pretty evident in their loss to the Bills.
Odell Beckham Jr. can be the answer to all the Chiefs’ problems, but he won’t be available until later this year as he is still recovering from his injury.
