Travis Kelce, the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, has been in the news for a lot of reasons since the beginning of the 2023-24 season. Earlier, the TE was in the news for harming his knee. There were a lot of speculations about whether the player would be able to play for the Chiefs in the first few games. He missed the first game and the Kansas City Chiefs felt his absence. They lost the first game. However, the player came in the second game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was listed in the squad. 

The TE is presently in the news due to his dating rumors. Multiple sources reported that Kelce is dating famous pop singer Taylor Swift. The duo has reportedly been hanging around together. Swift also reportedly wore a locket with Kelce’s birthstone. This locket triggered the dating rumors more.

Amid these rumors, analyst Stephen A. Smith reacted to the issue. He shared his ‘valuable’ opinion on the following issue on his podcast. Smith said that he would be happy if the rumor rings true since Kelce would not have gotten a better person than Taylor Swift. He also said that he was very happy to hear the rumor.

“So I’ve heard that Travis Kelce, my brother from another mother, I love that brother. He’s one of the coolest people I know. He’s possibly dating Taylor Swift. Taylor Swift, you could do a lot worse but so could he because I have not gotten over that Taylor Swift concert. I mean she was off the chain now getting that out the way Travis Kelce with Taylor Swift, that’s not bad,” he said. 

He further said, “I mean I watched Taylor Swift’s performance. She has got something with her. Pretty, long, nice legs. Looks good. That’s not bad. I sincerely doubt that Travis Kelce would find some successful than her. She made over $5 billion.”

What Travis Kelce has to say about the Taylor Swift dating rumor

Travis Kelce finally opened his mouth on these prospective dating rumors. During a recent interview with NFL+ host Andrew Siciliano, Kelce said that the reporters want to hear and they want to hear more about the rumors. But Kelce is certainly not a person to entertain them with a lot of information.

The interviewer also asked him whether he bought a friendship bracelet for Swift and gave her as a gift with his mobile number on it. Answering this, the 33-year-old athlete said, “I said what I said. And I meant what I said when I said it, you know what, it is what it is. I’m not gonna talk about my personal life.”

Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce, who provided major updates when he was injured, also failed to give any update on this plausible dating scenario.
