Stephen A. Smith is not pleased with the comments made by Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce regarding their remark on the NFL policy. In one of the episodes of the Kelce brother’s YouTube show, New Heights, Travis said that the NFL is overdoing Taylor Swift’s presence on the field.
“I think it’s fun when they show who was at the game. I think it brings a little bit more to the atmosphere, brings a little bit more to what you’re watching. But at the same time I think they’re overdoing it a little bit for sure, especially my situation. [But] I think they’re just trying to have fun with it,” said Travis Kelce.
Right after the remark, analyst Smith lashed out at Kelce from his show, First Take. He said that it was not the NFL but Kelce himself who is overdoing things.
“Travis Kielce stop. Bro, you did this. Not the NFL,” the analyst said.
Of course, the veteran did not stop there. He kept on saying, “You let the world know you got that little bracelet made for her, and you wanted to give her your phone number —Come on bro. Listen, it’s all in fun. Maybe it’s a bit excessive. People trying to capitalize off it attention-wise, monetize it, I get it. But the instigator in all of this was you, my brother.”
The analyst was very happy hearing the dating rumors about these two. However, now he seems a bit p*ssed off regarding the events that are taking place. He further noted, “I ain’t mad about it now! It’s not a bad decision! It has seemed to be very beneficial to you. More power to you. But you did it.”
Taylor Swift attended consecutive Chiefs games
The Grammy-winning pop star watched consecutive games of the Kansas City Chiefs. She was earlier invited by Travis Kelce in the match against the Chicago Bears. She accepted the invitation and came to the field. She was seen enjoying the game with Kelce’s mother, Donna. The pop star was spotted celebrating Kelce’s touchdown moment like a teenager.
The singer also came to the field against the New York Jets and watched the game with friends like Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively. Her presence was covered by everyone and the NFL also promoted her presence, quite excessively, from multiple social media accounts. They also requested their networks to promote promos of the star’s upcoming movie.
