Aaron Rodgers is one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play in the history of the National Football League. He signed a three-year $150 million contract extension with the Green Bay Packers in the 2022 off-season.
The veteran QB was linked with multiple teams in the 2022 offseason but he shut down all the rumors when he signed the contract extension. He stayed with the team that drafted him in hopes of winning more Super Bowl rings with them. His season didn’t have a good start as the Packers fell to 4-8, and it looked like the Packers won’t reach the postseason.
However, the Packers have now won four games in a row and control their destiny when it comes to NFC playoff pictures. Despite their massive turnaround, Rodgers has recently come under heavy fire for his sketchy comments about his possible last home game at the Lambeau field. Even the long-time Rodgers fanatic Stephen A. Smith had some harsh words for the back-to-back MVP.
Speaking on his show First Take in a recent episode, Smith said that Aaron Rodgers is starting to get on his nerves and he’s really starting to get annoyed with the Packers QB, “That bad man that is Aaron Rodgers is getting on my damn nerves. He really is. I’m starting to get annoyed with him right here.” said Smith about Rodgers.

ESPN personality Stephen A Smith also said that he has been praising ‘the bad man’ for more than a decade even though the Packers QB hasn’t won anything for his team in that time.
“The bottom line is this I’ve been praising this dude for the better part of the last 13-14 years and you come up with nothin,” said Smith on a recent episode of his show First Take. He went on to say that Rodgers’s comments on his possible last home game at Lambeau Field is some bulls**t. “We sitting here with a playoff berth on the line and you’re talking about ‘well I might be here, it’s been some nice memories’, that’s some BS right there Aaron Rodgers.”
Smith also noted that the reigning NFL MVP has not thrown for more than 300 yards once this entire season. “Aaron Rodgers has not thrown for 300 yards in one single game this year. Not one, Not one. We see Aaron Jones running the football, We see this cat, Christian Watson, develop it, and We see Matt on the floor making adjustments and acting like a damn coach for a change. We see all of that and right now with a playoff berth for the line you Aaron Rodgers and you talking about the memories and — shut the hell up.” said an annoyed Smith on his show.
On the sporting side of things, the Green Bay Packers will be looking to secure a win against the Detroit Lions, who they will be facing in week 18 of the NFL regular season. The Packers can clinch a playoff spot with a victory against the Lions.
