Smith pointed that he was right all along and the Cowboys can't deliver when it matters the most.

When the Dallas Cowboys have a beatdown or even lose by inches, the entire social media world waits for only one man to share his reaction, and that’s none other than Stephen A. Smith. The veteran ESPN analyst never fails to entertain with his statements, especially against the Cowboys, whom he thinks are “cockroaches.” Even when traveling by air.
As soon as the game at Lincoln Financial concluded in favor of the Philadelphia Eagles, Smith posted a short clip on his official X account. The funny part is that he recorded the video while on a private jet heading to his Get Up colleague Shannon Sharpe‘s alma mater, Savannah State University.

In the post captioned “How Bout Dem Cowboys?” to mock the fanbase, he slowly turned the phone towards him to face the camera and broke out in laughter.
Y’know, I gotta leave town to go to Savannah State University tomorrow on ‘First Take'. You would think that would be the one thing on my mind, [but] you know something? Since those Cowboy fans are like cockroaches [if] the nuclear bomb can drop, some of them survive.
One might be led to believe that it was over. However, the fun was only beginning. To rub salt in the wounds that the Cowboys fans got after witnessing a narrow 28-23 loss on the night, he added,
I know that they didn’t want to see this video of me right now. And that’s why I made it.
Stephen A. Smith bashed Dak Prescott post his loss against Eagles
By now, every football fan who watches First Take or Get Up or follows Stephen A. Smith on various social media platforms knows that he is not a Cowboys hater; rather, he is not fond of the fanbase, hence the taunting video clip. But there’s one more side to his disdain for the franchise.

Smith has always been a vocal critic of quarterback Dak Prescott. Although he believes the 30-year-old is a good and capable QB, he has very little faith when it comes to winning, when it matters the most. Smith brought back that argument once more in the clip.
You all thought you had it, didn't you? You thought you had it. When you get the ball back before you have seven seconds left, you will be driving down the field. Especially that late hit on Dak Prescott. But then an offside penalty and an incomplete pass, and there you have it, you lost the game.
As Smith said, the Cowboys were close to winning the game but missed by mere inches. With just 18 seconds left on the clock in the game, Eagles defensive end Josh Sweat sacked Prescott on the second down. Then they conceded a 5-yard penalty, which pushed them back to the 25-yard mark.
Prescott took a shotgun and found receiver CeeDee Lamb near the end zone. Unfortunately, he was pounced upon by four Eagles players, and he couldn’t get the all-important first down. The game ended, and Philadelphia recorded their eighth victory of the season.
He finished the game with a season-high 374 passing yards from 29 completions and 3 touchdowns. Lamb touched the 100 receiving yards mark third game running. He capped off with 11 receptions for 191 yards.
They are now head and shoulders above other teams in the NFC East. The other two sides, the Commanders and Giants, both have negative scorecards in their nine games.
