“Do not jeopardize him,” Stephen A. Smith CAUTIONS the Bills to rest QB Josh Allen for the Vikings game

Josh Allen is having a miraculous season with the Buffalo Bills as they maintain an exceptional 6-2 record in the NFL. Allen is arguably the best QB this season as the Bills QB has shown impressive levels to his game.
The Bills face the Vikings this weekend and their star talisman is questionable as he has suffered a UCL injury in his right throwing elbow.
Although there are chances of him making it to the Vikings game, Stephen A. Smith thinks otherwise. The ESPN analyst wants the Bills to rest Allen as they don’t want to aggravate his injury which could put him out for many games.
Stephen A. Smith stated that the Bills should look at their season as a marathon and not a sprint. If they risk playing Josh Allen, in a not-so-important Vikings game, then they can jeopardize his whole season.
“Josh Allen gives you a shot at a Super Bowl championship. Without him, you might struggle to make the playoffs.… You do not jeopardize it because you worry about a couple of games in the middle of the season,” Stephen A. Smith stated on the First Take.
The Bills can also afford to give their star QB a rest as they are currently 6-2 in the NFL and sit at the top of their division. Josh Allen and the team need to focus on the playoffs more than the regular season games.
Josh Allen has delivered MVP-level performances this season

If Josh Allen and the Bills keep playing the way they are, then the 26-year-old is set to bag his first NFL MVP. The star QB has been a revelation this season as he has single-handedly led the Bills to a 6-2 record.
The Bills are heavily dependent on Allen to perform. Therefore, they shouldn’t risk his injury any further and give him a break for a game or two.
Currently, Josh Allen’s status is not confirmed as it is an ‘hour-by-hour’ update. Though the Bills QB has missed his last two training sessions with the team.
It is highly likely that Bills backup Case Keenum will take up QB duties for the Vikings game as Josh Allen gets his well-deserved rest.
