The Buffalo Bills‘ dynamic duo of Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs is currently one of the best QB-WR duos in the league. They have enjoyed remarkable success while playing together for the last three seasons. However, toward the end of the 2022 season, Diggs was caught yelling at Josh Allen on the sidelines when the Bills were losing their playoff game against the Cincinnati Bengals. That incident led to multiple rumors about Diggs having a rift with Allen.
The Bills receiver Diggs has denied the rumors that he wants out of the Bills multiple times, but the speculation keeps getting wild. Amidst this, the renowned ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith has now fueled the Diggs trade rumors with a new report.
During the recent episode of the ESPN show First Take, Smith said that his sources have confirmed that Diggs is indeed unhappy with the Buffalo-based football time since he feels like Josh Allen and company have wasted their opportunity to win the Super Bowl.
“Brother wants out. I’m just telling you what I know. I’ve got my own sources. Brother wants out. He don’t want to be in Buffalo anymore. I have my sources. Stefon Diggs got to be there, but he would prefer to be gone because he’s lost a level of belief in the Buffalo Bills. That’s right, I said it,” said Smith.
Still, Smith claimed that despite his unhappiness, Diggs is not trying to force his way out of the Bills since he realizes it is his job to perform there. However, the Bills receiver has denied the reports from Smith.
Stefon Diggs denies the reports from Stephen A. Smith
After the report from Stephen A. Smith about Stefon Diggs wanting out of Buffalo went viral, the Bills’ Pro Bowl pass catcher had to clarify his stance with a post on social media.
“100% not true. I don’t know who the source is but I thought I nip this shit in the bud already,” wrote Diggs on the social media platform X. He also showed love to the Bills Mafia in a separate post writing, “Rocking wit my dawgs… Bills mafia through and through !!!”
Previously, just last month, Diggs said that he “100%” still wants to retire as a Buffalo Bill. And now, he has once again denied rumors about him wanting out of Buffalo. Nonetheless, he will be focused on helping Josh Allen and the Bills to make a deep postseason run once again in the upcoming season.
