Aaron Rodgers‘ is a stable personality in sports media, especially in the off-season. The Green Bay Packers QB has been in the headlines for several weeks now because of the trade rumors. There have been many instances where people get tired of talking about the same thing again and again. Well, that’s how the renowned ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith feels about talking about the Packers QB as well.
The Packers star QB Aaron Rodgers recently made an appearance on the Aubrey Marcus podcast where he talked about people complaining about his constant trade rumors. The 4-time league MVP told everyone to stop talking about or listening to him if they think he is acting like a diva. “If you don’t like it and you think it’s drama and you think I’m being a diva or whatever then just tune it out,” said Rodgers on the Aubrey Marcus podcast.
During a recent episode of the show First Take ESPN, Stephen A. Smith listened to that particular sound bite and sounded off on the former Super Bowl Champion for telling people to tune out. Furthermore, Smith also hilariously pretended to fall asleep since he was sick and tired of talking about the Packers quarterback.
“We can’t tune out one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game but my god I wish we could,” said Smith. “I’m so sick and tired of talking about everything about Aaron Rodgers except winning. I’m on the record outside of Patrick Mahomes and that’s only because of recently, the greatest talent from the quarterback position I’ve ever seen in my life and a guy that I like personally but I’m so sick and tired and I would be embarrassed if people were talking about this much and I hadn’t won.”
Where will Aaron Rodgers end up next season?
Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers are in a tough situation. The Packers GM Brian Gutekunst wants his QB to make a decision before the start of the NFL free agency, which means Rodgers has less than two weeks to come to a final decision.
According to reports, Rodgers has narrowed his choices to two options, either retirement or trade to the New York Jets. Furthermore, the Jets are willing to go all in for the former Super Bowl MVP QB and the Packers are reportedly willing to trade him to an AFC team for the right package.
So right now, all signs are pointing at Aaron Rodgers leaving Green Bay and heading to the Big Apple to play for the Jets. However, Rodgers himself has claimed the NFL insiders “don’t know s**t” about him. So, as far as the possibilities of where he will end, everything, including a trade to the Las Vegas Raiders, is still on the table.
