ESPN’s First Take has been one of the highest-rated sports talk shows for years for a reason. The reason is Stephen A. Smith, the face of ESPN. The analyst has charisma and is a character that just gets people to crack up with the manner in which he presents information and responds to his co-hosts while debating them. ESPN should really consider renaming the show Stephen’s Shenanigans rather than First Take because of some of the stuff that Smith does.

On today’s edition of Stephen’s Shenanigans, the analyst attempted to mock co-host Dan Orlovsky, the former QB for the Los Angeles Chargers. Stephen was mocking Dan’s presentation skills while discussing the upcoming matchup between the Miami Dolphins and the Philadelphia Eagles. Smith believes that the Dolphins would be making a bigger statement by beating the Eagles.

Stephen A. says this because he believes that while Miami has a record of 5-1 this season, the teams that they have beaten are the Los Angeles Chargers, the New England Patriots, the Denver Broncos, the New York Giants, and the Carolina Panthers, all teams that have underperformed this season. It was no surprise that the Dolphins walked over all the teams they faced, as they have easily been the dominant team over all their opponents.

Stephen A. Smith has an odd style of jumping

Stephen A. called out Dan Orlovsky on First Take for his takes and the manner in which he presented information. “The brilliance of a Dan Orlovsky, this is Dan Orlovsky, y’all. You see, I want y’all to understand something; it’s about the level of competition. All I’m saying is this: he goes through all of that; they’ve beaten the Giants, they’ve beaten New England, and they’ve beaten Carolina. See, for us, it’s simple; you try to make it complicated; at the end, it’s 5-24; thats whom the Dolphins have beaten.”

Stephen A. called out Dan for necessarily complicating an easy topic. However, Dan was not about to just sit there and take Stephen A’s criticism. He began to jump up and down in a fashion similar to that of a kangaroo. “Should I do the Stephen A? Here we go, here we go, the top 5 teams in my top 5 list.”

Dan begins to hop up and down while yelling. If you’ve seen First Take before, you’d be familiar with that, as that is how Stephen A. begins to present his list of the top 5 teams in the NFL at the end of every week.

For individuals who are completely oblivious to Stephen’s shenanigans, Dan’s movement would look like a kangaroo hopping up and down and would definitely leave them confused. The banter between the duo was nothing short of hilarious, and it comes as no surprise that fans genuinely enjoy the show and love to see their creative ways of presenting and discussing sports.
