“I bust my a**!” Stephen A. Smith lashes out at Molly Qerim for ‘fabricating’ his ankle injury involving Cowboys’ Micah Parsons
Smith claimed that Molly Qerim did not speak the truth about his ankle injury before the All Star game.

Despite the banter for the past few weeks, Stephen A. Smith went home empty-handed from the NBA All-Star celebrity game for the second straight year. SAS lost out to his ESPN colleague Shannon Sharpe at Lucas Oil Stadium on Friday night.
There’s no question. Smith was a bit salty for the L, but the veteran sports analyst was enraged by the alleged false narrative surrounding his ankle injury. When he wasn’t present during a segment of First Take before the celebrity basketball game, host Molly Qerim disclosed the reason.

Qerim revealed that Smith ended up in the hospital after Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons crossed him over. If anyone knew the truth, it was Smith himself, who later fired back at Qerim for “fabricating stories” about him. On his YouTube channel, he posted a 5-minute video going on a rant.
You see, that’s what Molly does. She fabricates stories and makes stuff up, and she’s always sensationalizing stuff. It’s always to make me look bad.Smith screamed
What happened to Stephen A. Smith?
The 56-year-old was looking forward to beating Sharpe at the All-Stars game. He was even giving private lessons to the team on how to guard Parsons. Given his basketball pedigree from his college days, Smith was confident of bagging the game. But he couldn’t even sit on the bench; he had to watch the game from the hospital.

Qerim claimed it was Parsons’ fault for sending SAS there, but that wasn’t the reality.
I did not get crossed over by Micah Parsons. I ain’t getting crossovered by any damn body. Because I wasn’t playing any defense. I wasn’t competing. I was just shooting around.Smith said
So how did he injure his ankle? He gave a detailed account of what transpired that day. Parsons, being a basketball player in high school, was running rings around everyone in the practice session. This got Stephen A. Smith riled up, and they started talking smack to each other.
While sharpening their shooting skills, they decided to hold a contest. This is where Smith messed up. He went for a jump shot and stepped on sweat, slipping on the court. Among all of the chaos, he blamed his Christian Louboutin shoes for biting him in the back.
I bust my as*. I wasn't running or jumping, and I slipped on something. Must have been sweat on the corner or whatever and both my feet slided in the air an I bust my as*.Smith revealed
Well, tough luck all around for Stephen A. Not only did he injure himself, but Sharpe’s team won the game, and Parsons bagged the MVP.
