“They’re approaching an abyss” Stephen A. Smith makes a bold claim regarding the Bucs terrible form and Tom Brady’s future
Tom Brady has lost to two backup quarterbacks in two consecutive weeks.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tom Brady have had a devastating season in the NFL so far. They are 3-4 this season and have lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Carolina Panthers in back-to-back games.
Steelers and Panthers have a combined record of 2-10 against other teams. These were must-win games for the Bucs but they managed to lose against these two by a wide margin.
NFL analyst Stephen A. Smith, who is known for his controversial takes, had some harsh words for the Bucs. According to Smith, the Bucs have been awful this season. Their offense and defense have been sub-par this season, and it looks like there won’t be any improvements.
The Bucs are having their worst season ever since Tom Brady took over the reins as their QB. Smith stated that the team is approaching an abyss and are looking at a terrible season.
“[The Buccaneers] look like they’re approaching an abyss. … They are threatening to disintegrate before our very eyes and send Tom Brady unceremoniously into retirement.” Stephen A. Smith stated on ESPN.
Smith also had some harsh words to describe Tom Brady’s season as the QB has failed to perform by his usual standards. Smith thinks it’s time for TB12 to retire and focus on other things.

Tom Brady has looked like a shell of himself this season as he failed to find form in the first 7 games. Stephen A. Smith believes that the GOAT of football should call it a day and hang up his cleats for good.
Tom Brady has supposedly made things awful with his wife Gisele to play one more season in the NFL and now it seems like a lost cause.
The Bucs QB’s form has taken a massive hit and this can be because of his personal problems this season as well. Brady is also considerably more frustrated this season as he was seen yelling at his teammates in a couple of games.
Tom Brady entertained us with 2 decades of greatness, but now it seems like it’s time for TB12 to move forward to the next chapter of his life, as he has currently signed a $375 million with FOX Sports as an analyst. Although Brady has always proved his critics wrong season after season and maybe he can turn things around for the Bucs with his brilliance.
