“He’s OUT”: Stephen A. Smith DISQUALIFIES Josh Allen from the NFL MVP race

Josh Allen has not proved that he is worthy of winning the MVP this season as per Stephen A. Smith.
We are closer to the end of the 2022 NFL regular season at this time of the year. By this point, we know which teams are capable of consistently playing at a high level and are more likely than not to reach the Super Bowl. However, a more interesting conversation that arises at this time is, who’s going to win the regular season MVP award?
If we go by DraftKings odds, the top frontrunners to win the 2022 NFL MVP award this season are Patrick Mahomes, Jalen Hurts, Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, and Tua Tagovailoa. Each of these quarterbacks has proven that they can be relied upon consistently and are capable of leading their team to a championship.
Josh Allen has been at the top of the MVP race this season. While his stock has been fluctuating between the top 3 ranks, the Buffalo Bills have looked different this year and have been consistent. They are looking like serious Super Bowl contenders. With a record of 6-3, the Bills are a well-balanced team.
Stephen A. Smith believes Tua Tagovailoa has a better shot at winning the MVP this season:

However, ESPN First Take analyst Stephen A. Smith is of the opinion that Josh Allen should not be in the running to win the MVP award this season. Here is the argument that he makes to back his claims up. “Josh Allen is not even a part of the MVP race, (Bills) got losses, all 3 losses are directly attached to his performance. ALL 3.”
Let’s take a look at this claim, in the loss against Miami, Josh Allen played well without throwing any interceptions but when it comes to the game against the New York Jets, Josh Allen threw two interceptions and cost the Bills the game. The case was similar this Sunday in the game against the Minnesota Vikings as Allen threw for 2 interceptions yet again.
Going back to Stephen A, he adds on, “You threw two interceptions yesterday in the red zone, in the end zone, you threw 2 interceptions against the New York Jets. (Josh Allen) is an absolute stud, I’m not taking anything away from his greatness. I’m just talking about his greatness. I’m just talking about this dude (who) was a leading candidate for league MVP honors… Tua Tagovailoa is a more viable MVP candidate right now than Josh Allen.”
The analyst proves that Tua is a much more valuable asset to the Dolphins than Allen is to the Bills due to the team’s performance without the quarterback. “Miami, the games they lost were without him( Tua) their record with him(Tua) is entirely different. The three losses albeit close ones literally came down to plays involving Josh Allen. Not just interceptions but now a fumbled snap too.“
Due to these reasons, Stephen A. Smith is pumping the brakes on any talk of Josh Allen winning the MVP this season. The Buffalo Bills will face off against the Cleveland Browns and look to redeem themselves this Sunday, 20th of November.
