Jada Pinkett-Smith has been all over the news boards recently as she has been making public appearances and is engaged in the promotion of her new book titled Worthy. The actress revealed some key details regarding her relationship with her husband, Will Smith on the NBC News Prime-Time Special with Hota Kotb.
Jada dropped a bombshell confession upon fans when she admitted that she and her husband Will Smith have been separated since 2016 and have lived “completely separate lives” since then.
The duo were not together even at the time of the occurrence of Will Smith’s Oscar Performance at the 2022 Academy Awards. Jada went on to describe her bond with the late rapper Tupac Shakur in an interview with Rolling Out where she called him her “soulmate”.

Stephen A. Smith wants Jada Pinkett-Smith to stop publicly emasculating Will Smith
Jada stated, “If there is such a thing as past lives, I definitely think that Pac and I have traveled a few together. There was no chemistry between us. It just wasn’t possible, there was no chemistry between us.” The star had recently even stated to Showtime that Tupac Shakur had asked her to get married to him while he was in prison. ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith called out Jada Pinkett-Smith over her recent comments and the blatant disrespect that they have caused to Will Smith.
Here’s what he had to say, “You want to mess with some dude that’s your son’s friend, as trifling as that may seem in people’s eyes, that’s your damn business. You want to break up with your husband and all that stuff, that’s your business. But this public emasculation needs to STOP.” Smith was referring to the comments made by Jada-Pinkett that paint Will Smith in a bad light.
During the course of the segment, Smith believes that Jada Smith needs to be asked some hard-hitting questions such as, “Where’s your compassion? Where’s your decency? Where is your respect for a man you still acknowledge as your husband? Where is the respect for a man you walked down the aisle with and pledged your life to in 1997 for better or worse…?”
The analyst highlighted the fact that what Jada is doing now to Will Smith in public is not just disrespectful but also disturbing. “Jada, all you’re doing is elevating the level of vitriol that is coming your way, because it doesn’t matter what you say, there’s nothing you can say to a man to justify what you have done to Will Smith.” Jada has not been private about any of the details regarding her marriage with Will Smith, she has and continues to make statements that do not paint Will Smith in the most ideal light.
Stephen A. concluded by posing an interesting question to Jada Pinkett-Smith, “Tell me anywhere, Biblically, scripture-wise, in any scripture where it encourages you to publicize your personal business for profit when it negatively affects your spouse?”
