A lot of bizarre things have been happening in the NFL this season. However, it is doubtful that one will come across something more bizarre than what you are about to read. Stephen A. Smith, who has established himself as a certified Dallas Cowboys hater is predicting that this year’s team has the potential to make it to the Super Bowl. Yes, that’s right.
Up until today, there were three things that nobody can escape from; death, taxes, and Stephen A. Smith mocking the Cowboys’ fanbase for believing their team will make the Super Bowl. However, today the analyst on ESPN’s special HBCU celebration at his alma mater, Winston-Salem University had this to say when asked if the Dallas Cowboys can make it to the Super Bowl this season.

I'm going to say yes because when I look at the talent that they have and how competitive they have the potential to be, I cannot dismiss that.
Did Stephen A. Smith just confess that America’s team, the team he has loathed and laughed at for years has a legit shot at making the Super Bowl this season? Talk about turning the impossible into possible…
Stephen A. Smith expects the Dallas Cowboys to come up short in the Super Bowl
The analyst believes that the Cowboys “should have won” the game against the Philadelphia Eagles and that they had the potential to win it. Dallas came up short by 5 points in an entertaining matchup that witnessed Dak Prescott outduel Jalen Hurts.

The reason Smith believes Dallas can make it that far is because of how “haphazard the NFC looks.” Currently, the Saints, Lions, 49ers, and Eagles lead their respective divisions in the NFC but from what fans have seen so far this season, all of the aforementioned teams except Philadelphia have shown that they are unpredictable and inconsistent.
Stephen A. Smith does believe that Dallas will make it to the Super Bowl because of key pieces such as Dak Prescott, Michael Gallup, CeeDee Lamb, Micah Parsons, and their defense. However, the analyst is certain about one thing:
I anticipate that the Cowboys will lose. I anticipate that they will fold when it really really counts.
America’s team has not won the Super Bowl for over two decades and this year, with the roster they have, it is their best shot to win a ring.
