Stephen A. Smith, the well-known critic of Dallas Cowboys has taken a dig at Dak Prescott‘s brother Tad. Prescott’s contract has been an issue for the Cowboys. Jerry Jones earlier said that the Cowboys would be ‘all in’ the coming season. However, his team witnessed a major change in structure. Running back Tony Pollard left and Prescott’s contract issue could lead to further problems in the squad.

Amid these, Dak Prescott‘s brother Tad took a subtle jibe at Jerry Jones, the veteran owner of the team. But he also praised the front office of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Following the comments of Tad Prescott, Smith roasted him in the latest episode of the show First Take. Smith is known for spewing harsh criticism towards Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and he did not hide his hate over the issue.

An angry Smith said:

Tad Prescott, the brother of Dak Prescott, shut the hell up. Enough of you. Shut the hell up! I’m sick of him and everybody should be sick of him. And I’m gonna tell you, Ted Prescott, why everybody should be sick of you and you should shut the hell up: because you’re implying that your brother had nothing to do with the troubles that the Dallas Cowboys have experienced.

Dak Prsecott’s deal has also become an issue for the analysts. Multiple analysts suggested that the Cowboys need to restructure the $60 million tag if they have to maintain their salary cap. Prescott, nevertheless, expects that the Cowboys will give him the amount he deserves.

Stephen A. Smith ripped into Tad Prescott’s way to defend his brother

In the whole argument, Stephen A. Smith pointed out that Tad Prescott was doing nothing but defending his brother who failed to take the Cowboys past the playoffs multiple times. He flamed Tad and suggested he needed to take some accountability for his brother’s faults.

Smith added:

When you make a comment like that about the Philadelphia Eagles, knowing it’s going to be received publicly throughout the football world, what you’re basically saying is, ‘It’s not my brother’s fault.’ Dammit, your brother has something to do with it.

Despite last year’s failure, the Cowboys have put their trust in the quarterback. Jones said multiple times that he did not think of anyone except Dak Prescott. The Cowboys man will try to prove his critics wrong in the coming season.
