On Thursday, the NFL authority announced that the big game will be held in Los Angeles in the year 2027 after owners decided it unanimously. This will be the second time the SoFi Stadium will host the Super Bowl within five years. 

We are very excited to bring the Super Bowl back to Los Angeles for the second time in five years--The city did an outstanding job hosting Super Bowl 56 in the incredible SoFi Stadium and we believe that Super Bowl 61 will be even more memorable.

Last time it was Super Bowl LVI which was hosted at the SoFi Stadium in 2021. The Los Angeles Rams had a faceoff with the Joe Burrow-led Cincinnati Bengals. With the help of the home ambiance and the support from the home crowd, the NFC Champions beat the AFC Champions in a nail-biting encounter. It was a 23-20 thriller that ended in favor of the Ram.

The game provided a roller-coaster ride to the fans from both spectrums. Both teams steamed their dominance in multiple quarters. The Rams took an early first-quarter lead of 7-3 while the Bengals bounced back by taking 6-7 and 3-10 leads in the back-to-back second and third quarters. With a four-point trail, the Rams rolled their sleeves up for the fourth and final quarter secured a handy 7-0 lead, and reached 23 points against 20. That clutch fourth-quarter comeback secured them the Lombardi trophy.

It was one of the epic fourth-quarter comeback drives by an NFL team. The next year, the Kansas City Chiefs also had a similar clutch drive that led the team to win the Super Bowl.

Las Vegas will be hosting the Super Bowl this season

This year’s Super Bowl game will be hosted at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, the home stadium of the Las Vegas Raiders, . The next year, the 59th Super Bowl will be at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, the home turf of the New Orleans Saints.

This year, the NFL has gone through a fiercely competitive atmosphere. Multiple teams from both the NFC and the AFC have emerged as strong contenders for the Lombardi Trophy.

The Baltimore Ravens from the AFC and the San Francisco 49ers are the classic examples of these teams. Last year’s NFC Championship runners-up have beaten last year’s Super Bowl runner-ups Philadelphia Eagles.

The Ravens are also in great form and can make it to the ultimate championship game. It will be interesting to see who makes it to the Lombardi Trophy this year.
