The Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce used his bye week to travel all the way to South America to support his girlfriend Taylor Swift as she kicked off the international leg of her Eras Tour concert. It seems like making an effort to show up at the concert paid off well for Kelce as the global music star changed one of her songs’ lyrics and officially took their relationship to the next level.

During the second show of her Argentina concert — which Kelce attended — Swift changed the lyrics of her song ‘Karma’ to reference the Kansas City’s All-Pro tight end.

The 34-year-old NFL player watched it all unfold from the VIP suite with Taylor’s dad, Scott Swift. The lyrics change seemingly caught Kelce by surprise as he was shocked to hear the lyrics and hid his face with his hands, while Scott was smiling with joy.

The crowd also erupted when Swift twisted the lyrics in the song. Nonetheless, that wasn’t the only surprise Kelce had for the night. As soon as the show was over, Swift waved goodbye to the crowd before running into the arms of Kelce — who was waiting for her backstage — and kissing him in front of the packed crowd in Argentina.

Even before the concert, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift were seen spending some time together after she had to postpone her concert due to unfortunate weather. Kelce and Swift were seen leaving an eatery in Buenos Aires while holding each other’s hands. The 33-year-old singer’s dad was also seen leaving the restaurant with the couple.

NFL fans on social media are fed up with the football media constantly covering the relationship news between Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. They expressed their frustration on social media and some people even believed that Swift changing her lyrics to the song was corny on her part.

On the sporting side of things, Travis Kelce is expected to return to the United States on Sunday to resume his NFL duties. Since the Chiefs are on a bye week, he wouldn’t immediately join his team. But he’ll eventually join the team and they will begin practicing for their week 11 game against the defending NFC Champions Philadelphia Eagles next Monday.
