Even Taylor Swift is allowed to let loose once in a while. When the occasion is the Super Bowl, it’s better to go all out, as the pop icon did with most football fans—chugging down a pint.

It has been a wild week for Swift, who first bagged her 14th Grammy. Then she flew off to Tokyo to restart her international leg of the ERAS Tour. As soon as the concert wrapped up, the 34-year-old boarded her private plane and flew back to the US.

There’s only one reason that could propel her to make the hectic 6,000-mile journey, and that is to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. Next day, February 11th, she arrived at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas with close friends to attend the Super Bowl LVIII.

Swift met up with the familiar faces of Jason and Kylie Kelce. And when Big Brother Kelce is in the same suite, there will be a few beers flying out of the counters. The ‘Cruel Summer’ composer did not disappoint one bit. She chugged down an entire pint in one fell swoop, which Jason would be proud of.

Taylor Swift’s presence during football games has increased its popularity

Despite the backlash from a section of fans on social media about the NFL showing too much of Taylor Swift, the pop icon has remained steadfast in her commitment to supporting her boyfriend. During an interview with Time Magazine, she revealed that she is a fan of the game and attends the game only to cheer on Kelce. More than that, she doesn’t care if it angers a few people.

On the other end, there were a few who stood by her venture. Retired NBA star Charles Barkley, sports analyst Stephen A. Smith, and a whole host of notable names agree that Swift has been a boon for the growth of the sport. Another high-profile individual came out and voiced the same opinion.

Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger credited the ‘You Belong with Me’ singer for ushering in a new era of football. Schwarzenegger said in a recent interview with Yahoo Entertainment that Taylor and Travis’ romance has attracted a large chunk of people who did not have much interest in the game.

Football itself draws the biggest crowds because it’s the most popular sport. then to have someone like her [Swift] be there and watch the game adds another kind of thing that attracts a different [audience]. Especially younger girls are now more into football; they know the rules and all of that stuff, so it’s really amazing.

Whether anyone likes it or not, she has every right to watch a football game. On top of that, Kelce is on the verge of winning another ring, so maybe he could give her one too.
