Travis Kelce has the seal of approval from Scott Kingsley Swift for dating her daughter, Taylor Swift. Why wouldn’t he? The 34-year-old flew 5595 miles from Kansas City to watch his girlfriend perform in Buenos Aires. One might even say Kelce is quickly rising in the ranks to be called the biggest ‘swiftie’ on the face of the earth.

It was destined to happen. The Kansas City Chiefs star tight end had promised that he would not miss Swift’s Argentina leg of the Eras tour. Well, Kelce had to take a detour to attend a charity concert on the first day of the concert. But he made his way down south of the globe the very next day.

The event was already a grand success, as the tickets were sold out months prior. Those who were lucky enough to get in saw some beautiful moments of Travis Kelce singing and grooving to the tune of the ‘You Belong with Me’ singer.

Right next to him was Scott, to give him company while the lights dazzled in the night sky. The Estadio Monumental was buzzing and jumping with joy, not just listening to the 33-year-old sing but also witnessing how much Kelce was in tune with the atmosphere. Scott did not forget to capture the moment. He took his phone out and started recording, quite possibly, his future son-in-law’s reactions.

Is Taylor Swift’s dad now a Chiefs fan?

While Taylor’s dad was filming Kelce, a few keen-eyed observers noticed something around Scott’s neck. While there’s no guarantee as to what it was, it appeared to be a VIP identification strap. But that’s nothing out of the ordinary until one zooms in on it for a better view.

Upon closer inspection, the strap seems to contain the Kansas City Chiefs‘ logo on it. The silhouette of the logo is blurred, but it can be understood.

That’s definitely a long shot, considering the stadium authorities won’t allow anything that is not associated with the Eras Tour. According to Molly Troup of the Buenos Aires Herald, “No football kits of any kind are allowed.”

Then again, becoming a Chiefs fan all of a sudden will be a conflict of interest for Scott. He’s from Philadelphia and grew up as a Philadelphia Eagles fan, as did Taylor. But she has been showing up at Arrowhead to cheer for the reigning Super Bowl winners, so who knows, he too may have joined her.
