The NFL fans got what they wanted: a limited Taylor Swift broadcast. However, it didn’t fit well in the eyes of the Swifties, who came all the way down to Las Vegas for the Super Bowl LVIII, and those hooked up to their television for the entire evening.
While the Kansas City Chiefs fans celebrated how their favorite team shielded their Super Bowl crown with a 25-22 triumph against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night, many fans voiced their dissatisfaction with the NFL for the frequency of the Grammy winner’s presence onscreen.

In fact, a closer examination of the Super Bowl game revealed that the icon pop star didn’t even get a minute of broadcast time despite the fact she generated over $330 million for the Chiefs and NFL. Not only that, ever since the “Anti-Hero” singer started dating the two-time (now three) Super Bowl champion Travis Kelce, she has attracted ardent interest from fans.
According to Admeter, the 14-time Grammy winner only got 54 seconds of broadcast by the CBS broadcast-51 across 11 appearances that averaged nearly five seconds. Swift’s footage accounted for 0.36 percent of the four hours and eight minutes long game, as per analyst Jason Pauley.
Swifties express anger over Taylor Swift’s ‘short’ appearance at Super Bowl
It isn’t sure how the NFL fans, who were criticizing Swift for the amount of screen time she gets usually in the Chiefs game, are reacting to her brief broadcast at the grand Super Bowl game. Swifties are not happy! The award-winning “Midnight” singer has influenced a whole lot of female audiences at the NFL games.

She is one of the biggest reasons for the improved economy of Las Vegas merchants for the drive of customers she brought there for her boyfriend’s Super Bowl game. Considering these and many other factors, fans are not happy with how the NFL treated her with a below 1% broadcast. One fan wrote, “Not surprised men think 54 seconds is a long time,” while another wrote, “Asterisk alert, * straight men.” Here are some of the other reactions:
Swifties also demanded that there should have been more screen time for Blake Lively, who also had previously attended a Chiefs game with Swift.
