Taylor Swift will not be performing at the 2024 Grammy Awards. Before you jump to any speculations— it does not involve NFL star Travis Kelce.
As People magazine reported, the pop superstar has to travel immediately, after making her presence at the prestigious music award show, to Japan as the next destination of her Eras tour. That’s why Swift can’t perform at the award show.
At the grand awards, the pop icon has been nominated in a total of six wide categories: record of the year, song of the year, and best pop solo performance for her most-famous “Anti-Hero,” best pop vocal album and album of the year for Midnights and best pop duo/group performance for “Karma.”
Whilst her romance with the Chiefs tight end is the biggest hit in the NFL, she had the perfect opportunity to flaunt her beau, who is the “sexiest athlete,” in Hollywood. However, he recently confirmed during his appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, that he wouldn’t be able to join Swift at the Grammys.
The “Lovers” songwriter has to perform four shows back-to-back, dated from February 7-10 before unfolding in Australia, and Asia and eventually coming to a stop in Europe by the end of the Summer.
Will Taylor Swift attend the Super Bowl?
Amidst the already busy schedule, Swift might also have to be in Las Vegas on February 11 as her boyfriend, Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs qualified for Super Bowl LVIII.
A source close to Page Six revealed that the pop star is planning to travel more than 5,500 miles from Tokyo to Las Vegas to support her boyfriend on his biggest night of the Super Bowl. As her Eras Tour is ending on the day before the big game, if it wasn’t for the time difference she wouldn’t be able to make it.
The source also shared the possibility of where Swift will be seated at the game, hinting that she’s likely to be seated with Patrick Mahomes’ wife Brittany Mahomes, given their close bond. Or the Chiefs’ star player could or may already have purchased a suite for his lovely girlfriend and his family to watch the game in.
