The Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa keeps on enjoying staunch support from his teammates. After the appreciation by his wide receiver Tyreek Hill, this time the offensive tackle of the team Terron Armstead hailed Tagovailoa as the possible MVP-winner.
Armstead also compared the QB with a snipper while lauding his leadership and energy. The OT also claimed Tagovailoa is always laser-focused and hungry.
Stone-cold, he's a sniper. His leadership, his energy. He's laser-focused, he's hungry. He's a MVP caliber player, putting the team on his back. We go as far as Tua goes.Terron Armstead
This year’s MVP race is highly competitive. A lot of names are in fierce competition and Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa is one of them. With his stellar performance on the field, Tagovailoa’s name keeps on coming in the MVP discussion along with big names like Lamar Jackson and Dak Prescott.
This might be the reason behind the OT’s statement. A lot of them have been buzzing on the topic that who deserves to be the MVP this season. Tyreek Hill earlier considered Tua as the possible MVP-winner.
Despite all the buzz, Tagovailoa has confirmed multiple times that his priority is to win the Super Bowl for his team. The MVP question for him comes much later. He also ensured that he was not even thinking of MVP when he was asked.
The Dolphins have cemented a place in the playoffs
The Dolphins have finally cemented their place in the playoffs after their dying-minute victory against the Dallas Cowboys. It was their first against a team that had a winning streak or a winning record.
After the game, Mike McDaniel, the head coach said that all football teams want to play their best football in the business end of the league and that’s what the Dolphins are aspiring to do.
You want to be playing the best football teams in December and January. You want to go toe to toe with them, and you want to earn victories. To do that, we’re very fortunate to have the opportunity to play the Baltimore Ravens this week.Mike McDaniel
The Dolphins are the second team to secure a playoff spot in the AFC. However, they are behind the Baltimore Ravens. The No.1 conference seed looks uncertain. If they do not secure that, they won’t be able to bag a home run in the playoffs.
