In a shocking result, the Miami Dolphins suffered a setback in a game against the Tennessee Titans in week 14. In a nail-biting encounter, the Dolphins, who are regarded as the main contenders for this year’s Super Bowl by many, had to swallow a single-point defeat of 27-28 on Monday Night Football.
The iconic Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill duo were not at their usual best. Both remained a bit silent as the Titans cruised through them in the dying minutes of the game.
However, Hill did not miss out on getting the motivation he needed after such a setback. It was DeAndre Hopkins who hyped him after the game. Taking to X, the Titans WR wrote that Tyreek deserves to win this year’s MVP. The NFL world needs to praise him for the efforts he has provided on the turf.

Hill has been considered the MVP favorite since the very beginning of the season. Ahead of the season, Hill, who is also known as Cheetah for his iconic speed, committed to surpass 2,000 yards. He is on the verge of doing that.
Till date, Cheetah has completed 1,502 yards. Nonetheless, in the game against the Titans, the crowd witnessed one of the most ‘humbled’ form of Hill as the WR just covered 64 yards with just four receptions. It was pretty unusual from a WR who has made covering 150 yards a habit for himself.
During the game, Hill injured his ankle. Though he came back in the third quarter, it is to be seen whether misses any game due to that.
Hill has a high competition this season for the MVP title. From Dak Prescott and Brock Purdy to Tua Tagovailoa in his team can produce tough challenges to the wide receiver. Among others, he has only been the non-QB one to affirm his position as the MVP favorite. The WR will have four more games and he has to be consistent to grab the MVP award.
Tyreek Hill needs less than 500 yards to surpass the legendary Calvin Johnson
To date, Calvin Johnson, the legendary WR who played for the Detroit Lions, holds the record for covering the most number of receiving yards. He covered 1,964 yards, and that is still a record. No WR so far has been able to surpass him. Hill has a chance to break the 2000-yard mark, but he needs 458 more yards to do that.

The equation implies that Tyreek needs to have 100 consecutive yards in four games. The Dolphins will face the New York Jets in their next game. After that, they will have a faceoff against the Cowboys, Ravens, and the Bills.
The Ravens are known for their defense and the Cowboys are also accelerating with each game passing. Lastly, the team will encounter the Bills who humbled the Dolphins earlier. A tough mission is awaiting Hill in the coming time.
