If there is one man who has been talked about more than anyone else for a variety of reasons, without any doubt, it is Tom Brady. The Tampa Bay QB shocked the world when he announced his retirement, however, he soon took a U-turn and un-retired after just 40 days.
The man is now all set to lead the Buccaneers in the coming season. Tom is indeed one of the greatest QBs of all time. He has the stats to back him and although the whole retirement and un-retirement saga looked a bit abrupt, there is no doubt about the fact that the world is eagerly waiting for him to take the field again.
“He’s the only guy on earth who would get hit by Aaron Donald instead of hanging out with his Super Model wife”: Stephen Curry on Tom Brady
Brady’s retirement and un-retirement saga is one the biggest stories in the world of sports this year so it was evident that someone will have a few things to say about it at the ESPYs. As it turns out, NFL superstar Stephen Curry, the host of the event, did end up telling everyone what he felt about Brady’s unretirement and needless to say, it was hilarious.
Curry claimed that Tom might be the only person who would prefer getting smacked by someone like Aaron Donald instead of spending time with his gorgeous wife. “Tom Brady is the only guy I know on earth who would rather get hit by Aaron Donald than hang out with a Super Model,” he said during the event.
ESPYs are fun. No one, absolutely no one is spared and it was just incredible to see Brady getting roasted by Curry. Indeed, a lot of people had opined that Tom will not come back when he first announced his retirement as everyone felt he wanted to give more time to his family but the star QB had other plans.
It will be interesting to see how he performs in the coming season.
