The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tom Brady went against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday and got blown out. Brady threw for 253 yards and 1 touchdown while completing 61.8% of passes. He also had 2 interceptions. To say it was not a good outing for the 45-year-old veteran quarterback won’t be far-fetched.

After the game, 49ers cornerback Dre Greenlaw asked Tom Brady for an autograph on the football that Greenlaw picked off of Brady. Brady signed the football with a smile. It was a class move by Brady, but he has since revealed that it gave him an uneasy feeling for him to do it and that he was just trying to be a good sport.

Speaking on Let’s Go! podcast with Jim Gray, Adam Sandler, Tracy Morgan, and Bill Burr, Brady revealed that he was just trying to be a gentleman, and he wished he didn’t throw the interception. “It was shit for me, tbh honest dude, complete shit. No, actually i mean, look, it was a great play he made, I’m happy he got the ball, I wish I didn’t throw it but I’m trying to be a good sport” said Brady.

Adam Sandler assured Brady that he looked good and he looked like he meant it. Jim Gray wasted no time in roasting Brady, saying that “It was like asking the captain of the Titanic to sign the iceberg.”

Brady and the Bucs had a rough outing last week and they’ll try to erase it from their memory and focus on their upcoming game against star quarterback Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals.

Before the 2022 NFL season even began, The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were considered Super Bowl contenders, but after week 15, they are still struggling to cement a playoff spot. With a record of 6-7 after 15 weeks, any hopes of getting into playoffs would be already lost. But luckily, for the Buccaneers, they are playing in the NFC South.

The Bucs are currently leading the NFC South division, but the Panthers and the Falcons are right behind them. It’s also worth noting that the Panthers have the tiebreaker advantage over the Buccaneers as they are 1-0 against the Bucs this season.

Tampa Bay is still favored to win the division. They can lose the next two games and still win the NFC South as long as they beat their division rivals, the Falcons and Panthers.

If the Bucs don’t end up winning the NFC South division, they might not even make the playoffs in what is widely considered to be Brady’s final season of playing football.
