Amidst the ongoing rumors about Tom Brady’s ex-wife dating her jiu-jitsu instructor, Joaquim Valente, the NFL legend seemed to have revealed something quite contrary to what Gisele Bundchen is portraying. He doubts the two began seeing each other before Brady-Gisele’s divorce. 

Since the highly-publicized divorce, there has been a lot of speculation about the reason for their separation. Although the most convincing story is the happy couple grew apart. However, considering what the former New England Patriots quarterback believes, there may have been other reasons influencing their decision.

According to RadarOnline.com, Brady is convinced that his former wife began dating Valente in 2021, only the rumors began now with their reported kiss. On the contrary, the former Victoria’s Secret model told People magazine that she began dating her jiu-jitsu instructor last year in June, around eight months after her divorce from Brady, in October 2022.

A source close to TMZ revealed, upon hearing Bundchen’s interview, Brady said

Interestingly, Valente had also been on a vacation with Bundchen and her children to Costa Rica and Brazile, a few times since her divorce from the seven-time Super Bowl champion. However, when the supermodel was asked about the rumors, she denied saying they were just friends. 

When did Gisele Bundchen start dating Joaquim Valente?

The 43-year-old confirmed to People magazine about her new hot romance with Joaquim Valente, saying they were friends before getting romantically involved with each other. The two began dating around the same time when the NFL legend’s dating rumors with the Russian model began.

The couple were already for over half a year when their dating rumors finally gained the limelight in February 2024. The news broke when the two were caught doing PDA during a low-key Valentine’s Day date in Miami. 

Valente graduated from Barry University with a degree in criminology. He has worked with Bundchen and her family for many years.
