Tom Brady made a return to his home state of California, and it went horribly for the Bucs QB as they lost to the 49ers in a completely dominating performance by the home team. The Bucs looked out of place throughout the game and couldn’t get hold of the ball for a long-time. Brady ended the game with just 253 yards and one touchdown while completing 34 of 55 passes.
On the other hand, the 49ers QB Brock Purdy had the most perfect debut game of all time as the youngster was exceptional and pulled his team through the hurdle of defeating the Bucs.
Brady was seen furious throughout the game and was yelling at his players, however, after the game, the 45-year-old QB got frustrated and left Levi Stadium straight away. The Bucs QB also avoided the post-game shower. “Some things I don’t give a f— about, at this point,” Brady stated when asked about his decision to skip out on a post-game shower. “F— that. I’m going home.”
Brady was back in his hometown and the QB had to leave with disappointment while the people he grew up with watched in despair.
“I love having everyone here, and it’s nice for my family to come, and I think they had a lot of people from the neighborhood come,” Brady stated during the post-game press conference. “That’s not going to change the outcome of the game, unfortunately, just because you’ve got a cheering section.”
Tom Brady’s possible last season with the Bucs is turning into a disaster
Tom Brady is in the last year of his contract and set to be a free agent next season. However, this season is not going as the QB would have planned.
Brady is having his potential worst season with the Bucs and maybe his life as well, considering the legendary QB went through a divorce recently. It surely doesn’t help when the Bucs are on a losing 6-7 record.
The Bucs have felt short of consistency this season and aren’t able to get maximum wins because of that, though they still lead their division they are significantly weaker than other teams in their conference.
“I think everyone’s gotta — it’s easy to say — everyone’s got to just play better,” Brady said. “We just have not played consistently well very often. We haven’t played it for four quarters.”
Tom Brady still has to play four more games this season and maybe they can show consistency in those games starting with the matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.
