Towards the conclusion of their two-decade partnership, Tom Brady and Bill Belichick, despite initially finding reconciliation post-Brady’s departure from the New England Patriots, experienced a deterioration in their relationship. The iconic duo’s harmony dissolved amid tensions and disagreements as their lengthy tenure together drew to a close.
Brady clarified that Belichick was the reason behind his decision to leave the Patriots after the 2019 season in the new documentary The Dynasty, which will debut on Apple TV+ this Friday.

Brady said:
Me and Coach Belichick, we did what we loved and competed for 20 years together. But I wasn't going to sign another contract (in New England) even if I wanted to play until (I was) 50. Based on how things had gone, I wasn't going to sign up for more of it.Tom Brady said
After 20 seasons together, the most successful quarterback-coach combination in NFL history called it quits. They made nine trips to the Super Bowl, won six titles, and participated in thirteen AFC Championship Games.
Brady’s first season away from the team ended with a Super Bowl victory for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Since Brady left, the Patriots have gone 29-38 and have only made one playoff appearance in four seasons.
Following the news that Belichick and the Patriots would be splitting up at the conclusion of the 2023 regular season, Brady referred to Belichick as the “greatest coach in NFL history.”
Tom Brady gives his take on Travis Kelce’s sideline bust-up with Andy Reid during the Super Bowl
Tom Brady has also commented on the altercation that transpired during Super Bowl LVIII between coach Andy Reid and Travis Kelce on the sidelines. Kelce went viral after he lost his cool against his head coach during the Kansas City Chiefs‘ 25-22 victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas.

With just over twelve minutes remaining in the second quarter and the Chiefs trailing 3-0, things took a turn for the worse when Kansas City running back Isiah Pacheco fumbled in the red zone. With his helmet tossed aside, an enraged Kelce hurried over to Reid.
After that, he screamed right into Reid’s face and had to be restrained at one point by teammate Jerick McKinnon. Reid stayed silent and stony-faced the entire time.
Brady, who has experienced his fair share of on-field arguments, has since stated that he was fine with the exchange.
There's always little family issues and of course, I don't mind seeing it cause I was a part of a lot of those things. Emotions are so high. So I think a lot of the things that are said during the games, people should just let them fly off their back.Tom Brady said on his Let’s Go! podcast:
The Chiefs, however, ended up winning their second Super Bowl in a row and have now won three titles in five years. Kelce and company will look to go for an unprecedented three peat next season.
