Legendary QB Tom Brady has possibly played his last football game, at least according to speculations, but he himself refuses to give any clarity on the matter. Brady hasn’t performed up to his high standards this season, but somehow, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers reached the playoffs this season by winning the NFC South division. Not a lot was expected of them in the playoffs, but their performance against the Dallas Cowboys in the wildcard round was even worse than what was expected.

They lost the wildcard round 14-31 to the Cowboys, handing Dallas their first playoff win in many years. The Bucs offense led by Brady was very poor and the QB just wasn’t able to orchestrate a good drive. He finished the game with 351 yards and 2 touchdowns, but in the end; he wasn’t even close to beating the Cowboys.

With this loss, retirement speculations began for Brady as he will be a free agent entering the off-season. While he hasn’t shown any signs of retirement, the end of his post-match press conference seemed like a goodbye. On asked about his retirement earlier, he said that he is yet to decide and will make a call in the coming few months.

Brady appeared on his weekly Let’s Go! Podcast and when Jim Gray asked about his retirement once again, the legendary QB lost his cool and snapped at Gray. He dropped multiple F-bombs and told Gray that if he knew what he was going to do, he’d have already done it. “Jim, if I knew what I was gonna f***ing do, I’d have already f***ing done it,” Brady said. “OK? I’m taking it a day at a time.”

The interviewer later defended himself by saying that this is “only the question everybody wants to hear.” “I appreciate your asking. Thank you,” Brady responded.

Until a few weeks ago, Brady has always made it clear that retirement was something that wasn’t on his mind, but the reality now is that things have drastically changed. Even if Brady wants to continue, teams will not be happy seeing his playoff outing against the Cowboys. Brady looked awfully slow on the field and found it difficult to move the ball around.

Despite all this, Brady has been linked to many teams over the last few months. Initially, it was speculated that Brady will return to the New England Patriots for one last year with the team where it all started, and then he was also linked to his boyhood franchise- the San Francisco 49ers.

Latest, Brady is being heavily associated with the Miami Dolphins and the Las Vegas Raiders. With Derek Carr’s exit from the team, the Raiders are looking for a QB and Brady might be the perfect fit for them. Whether Brady wants to return to the AFC or not, it’s up to Brady, and he should be making this call in the next few weeks.
