“Loser in life and football” – Tom Brady gets HAMMERED on social media for getting humiliated by 49ers’ debutant QB Brock Purdy

Tom Brady and Brock Purdy

NFL legend Tom Brady was handed his 7th defeat of the season as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost in Week 14 to the San Francisco 49ers. To make things awkward for the 7-time Super Bowl champion, he lost to Brock Purdy, who is just 22 and was making his debut for the 49ers as the starting quarterback after Jimmy Garoppolo suffered a leg injury last week.

This is the first time in football history that a player has lost to someone half as old as him and Purdy also became the first quarterback to beat Brady in his first NFL start. The 49ers, led by Purdy, won the game 35-7, as their defense allowed the Bucs to score just one touchdown.

While Brady didn’t perform up to his standards, the Bucs‘ strong defense was a massive disappointment, too. They looked completely out of sorts and were letting loose at times, which helped the 49ers’ cause. On the contrary, the 49ers leveled their defensive game up, and with Purdy leading the offense, the Bucs had no answers to them.

As always, people on social media pounded upon Brady after his abysmal performance against the 49ers. They were quick to call him out for not leading the Bucs and even questioned his decision to come back from retirement. People even suggested he retire again so that he can take care of his kids.

The Bucs are now 6-7 for the season and despite having such a poor record; they are still at the top of the NFC South division because of the lopsided among the teams. They still have a game advantage over second and third-placed Panthers and Falcons. The Bucs will now face the Bengals next week, which will be another tough outing for them. They will then play the Cardinals and the Panthers next.
