Tom Brady has secured the bag this offseason by not only continuing his NFL career but by signing a massive 10-year $375 million deal with FOX Sports to be an analyst and to comment on games once he retires as a player. The GOAT has never had any issues when it comes to financial matters, he has a lot going on in his life off the football field as well, he has dipped his toes into the virtual NFT space, has his own apparel line, and his own chain of fitness centers that also makes health supplements.
It comes as no surprise that considering all of these new developments that are likely to make Tom richer than any other athlete. His wife Gisele Bundchen wants to make sure that she gets her share in all of her husband’s successes. The two have a prenup already in place in case the worst was to happen but now they are looking to restructure this agreement in light of recent events.
Gisele’s friends have been pushing her to renegotiate the terms of her prenuptial agreement with Tom Brady:
Brady and Gisele have been happily married since 2009, it is only now that they are revisiting the terms of their prenup agreement, the reason for this is Gisele being coaxed by her friends to look over the terms so that she gets a fair share of Brady’s income if the duo decide to split.
“Gisele is rich in her own right, but her friends are telling her she’d be nuts not to revise their prenup and she’s likely to listen to them,” an insider stated. In May Brady confirmed his record-breaking deal with Fox Sports to become an analyst once his career as an athlete concluded. He has made nearly $333 million just from playing in the NFL for the last two decades, this does not include income from endorsements and other off-the-field avenues.
Brady’s retirement lasted only 40 days, his wife Gisele wanted him to hang it up as she has been vocal about stating that she is concerned about him every time he steps on the field as he risks getting injured. She had a big part to play in his decision to step down from the game but he managed to convince her to let him play for another season.
The duo began dating in 2006 first after being set up on a blind date first, they tied the knot in 2009 in Santa Monica. The two have a son and a daughter. They have not shared any details when it comes to their relationship but there has been a lot of speculation over their marriage in the past years.
It was reported in 2020 that the two were “living separate lives” after they “drifted apart” A source stated that “(Tom and Gisele) realized they’re two very different people. He likes a structured life and she’s all over the place- he’ll come home to a note saying she’s gone to Costa Rica to meditate!”
Tom had earlier stated that “I’m going one way and she’s going in the other” which led to the public believing the two were having a tough time in their relationship. Despite all of this, the two appear to still be happily married.
