Tom Brady once FORCED ex-wife Gisele Bundchen to get counseling owing to constant fights after the QB’s infamous ‘deflategate’ scandal

Keeping hold of a successful marriage is hard considering the recent flurry of splits and divorces. Just ask Tom Brady, who split with his longtime wife Gisele Bundchen. They did not leave any stone unturned in order to save their union; they even sought advice from experts through repeated counseling. Last year, sources close to the estranged couple claimed there were cracks forming in their 13-year relationship. The paparazzi got a whiff of the scoop when Bundchen, 43, suddenly hopped onto a plane bound for Costa Rica.
There was already tension between the celebrity couple, as sources close to Bundchen claim the Brazilian model was not happy with Brady’s retirement from football. She often complained that the former Patriot did not spend enough time with the children.
“[After] Tom’s had a busy day of training, he’ll come home and pass out on the couch,” an insider claimed in 2020. They added that a lack of parenting was one of the focal points of the scuffle. But Brady’s behaving rudely with the kids while trying to bond with them has ticked Bundchen off. “She feels he should be more patient,” the insider added. While marriages are fragile pieces of cloth built upon the strings of trust and compromise, they will eventually give up if not looked after properly. In Tom Brady’s case, his red string of romance had started to decay since the infamous ‘Deflatgate scandal’ while playing for the New England Patriots.
The situation became so dire that the couple needed professional help. As per Radar Online, a friend close to the retired footballer claimed, “Things got bad after Deflategate. Tom got irritable under the stress, and she started blaming him for all their unhappiness. Counseling was her ultimatum.”

Gisele Bundchen was not happy after Tom Brady announced he would not be retiring
After playing for 20 seasons with the Patriots, Brady decided to sign a two-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020. After his seventh Super Bowl win and a fatal injury came the shocking news that arguably the greatest football player of all time had called it quits, or so everyone thought. Just 40 days after the announcement, he decided that he would not be retiring.
Gisele Bundchen did not appreciate that he would go back to playing football. “There’s been trouble in the marriage over his decision to unretire,” a source told Page Six. “They had agreed he would retire to focus on the family, [but] changed his mind.”
The Victoria’s Secret show-stopper expressed her displeasure to British Vogue in May 2022. “It takes work to be really in sync with someone, especially after you have kids,” she said.
Not long after that, in October 2022, Bundchen and Brady signed the divorce papers and went their separate ways. Just six months after their famous split, news that both are trying to find love has spread like wildfire.
Tom Brady has reportedly been seeing Russian supermodel Irina Shayk. The two spent a couple of nights together in a London hotel. On the other hand, Gisele Bundchen seems to be happy with Jiu-Jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente. They were recently photographed during a gym session in Miami.
