Ever since his retirement announcement, Tom Brady has been involved in lots of business activities. The New England Patriots icon recently brought an ownership stake in the WNBA franchise Las Vegas Aces and has reached a deal with owner Mark Davis to buy a minority stake in the NFL team Las Vegas Raiders.
Tom Brady and the Raiders are still waiting for the approval of the other NFL team owners to conclude the deal. It is unsure how much Brady paid for the ownership stake but he has recently opened up about his role in the organization. During a recent interview with the Associated Press, Tom Brady clearly stated that he is planning to have a passive role in the Raiders’ management. Meaning, his role won’t be very significant.
“I’ll be playing a very passive role,” Brady told the AP. “This is something that I’m interested in doing for the rest of my life,” Brady said. “This is not something that I’m into it for a year or two years.”
“If I’m looking over the course of my life, to have the opportunity to be involved in the NFL is a dream come true. And if I could help the NFL and continue to contribute in a positive way, then you know, that’s been a very enjoyable part of my life.”
The 15-time Pro Bowl QB also went on to claim that the Raiders is an iconic franchise in NFL history and when the opportunity arose for him to become a minority owner of the franchise, it was a dream come true moment for him.

The Raiders EDGE Maxx Crosby teases Tom Brady return
Ever since Tom Brady bought a minority stake in the Raiders franchise, there have been several rumors that Brady might end up playing for the Las Vegas-based football team.
Brady recently put a stop to these rumors by making a clear statement that he is certainly not playing football again. Still, the Raiders star edge rusher Maxx Crosby isn’t ruling out Brady being his quarterback in the future.
“At the absolute worst, if everything doesn’t go the way it’s supposed to and we need him, I would not be surprised if Tom Brady shows up in a Raiders jersey,” Crosby said during his recent appearance on the Bleacher Report show Voncast.
The Raiders currently have Jimmy Garoppolo as their franchise quarterback. However, Jimmy’s future in Las Vegas is uncertain due to some medical issues. He could be released by the Raiders at any point in the off-season if he failed to pass the physicals.
And if the Raiders don’t have a quarterback Tom Brady would be a perfect fit for them but it’s highly unlikely the 45-year-old QB would come back out of retirement to play for the franchise that is not contending for the Super Bowl.
