Without a doubt, if there is one man who has been talked about more than anyone else for a variety of reasons, it is Tom Brady. The Tampa Bay QB shocked the world when he announced his retirement, however, he soon took a U-turn and un-retired after just 40 days.

The man is now all set to lead the Buccaneers in the coming season. Tom is indeed one of the greatest QBs of all time. He has the stats to back him. However, the man has often made the headlines for non-football related stuff as well.

Recently, on Spotify’s “Drive” podcast, Tom opened up about how the lavish lifestyle and truck loads of money is making parenting tough for him and Gisele. Tom reflected on his and Gisele’s humble backgrounds and claimed that he wants his children to understand the true value of the the kind of lifestyle they have.

My wife grew up in rural Brazil, the farthest state south, Rio Grande do Sul, very small kind of farming town, very simple girl,” Tom stated. “There are two bedrooms in their house — one for their parents and one for her and her five sisters.” He went on to reflect on his early days as well.

I grew up in, I would say, a middle-class family in California. My dad worked his ass off for our family. My mom stayed at home and took care of us kids, and I saw my mom work every day to make food for us at night and wash our clothes,” he added. Tom, through his words probably wanted to convey that he wants his kids to understand the actual ground reality and how life is for most of the people.

Although a few people did come out in Brady’s support, it seems like a lot of Twitter users took offense when Brady referred to himself and Gisele as two people who were from humble backgrounds. Here’s how Twitter reacted to Brady’s words:
