Kansas City Chiefs won Super Bowl LVII after a close 38-35 score over the Philadelphia Eagles. Both teams were on top of their games and every single player on the field gave their best but in the end, it was luck that played a major role in helping the Chiefs lift the Lombardi Trophy.
Kansas City players had the time of their life after winning the Super Bowl title for the second time in four years. At first, they partied with Chainsmokers and were dancing like crazy on the stage with the electronic duo. When the team returned to Kansas City, it was a whole new level of celebration. The Super Bowl parade was memorable like always but this one will be remembered forever.
Super Bowl LVII MVP Patrick Mahomes was in a world of his own during the parade. He was so drunk on the beers he was chugging one by one, that he almost fell off of the day at one point. That’s just the trailer. The really crazy incident was that Mahomes gave away the Lombardi Trophy to a fan in the crowd! This is no joke. After taking pictures with a fan on the streets, he handed over the trophy to him and simply walked away as if he hadn’t just given away the most coveted trophy in the NFL.

Fans on social media had a lot of fun at the expense of a drunk Mahomes who was an absolute delight to watch in the parade. Legendary quarterback Tom Brady who has had a bit of experience of being drunk and acting weird during the Super Bowl parade approved of Patrick Mahomes’ antiques. “Looks like appropriate parade behavior to me,” Brady tweeted on a clip of the Chiefs quarterback handing away the trophy.
Everyone knows what Tom Brady did when he won his 7th and last Super Bowl against Mahomes and the Chiefs back in 2020. After winning Super Bowl LV, the Bucs celebrated on boats in a water parade because of the COVID-19 pandemic. That’s when Brady threw the Lombardi Trophy to another boat that had Rob Gronkowski and his teammates.
Everyone was shocked at Brady’s insane throw and even his daughter Vivian was pleading with him to not do what he was about to do. Thankfully, the 5x Super Bowl MVP knew how to throw even in his drunken state and Gronk caught it and the entire marina breathed a sigh of relief. Mahomes’ act was a step down from what Brady did because the official quickly took back the trophy from the fan. Had Brady thrown the Lombardi trophy with a little less strength then it would be sitting at the bottom of Florida right now.
With the rate that Patrick Mahomes is going, he is going to win more Super Bowls so maybe fans will get to see what more interesting stuff he does with the Lombardi Trophy. Let’s just hope he doesn’t try and throw it because Brady was really lucky then and maybe he won’t be at that time!
