On February 1, the Buccaneers-Patriots legend Tom Brady announced his retirement from playing football after a 23-year-long illustrious career. In his announcement, he mentioned that this time he is retiring for good. Well, it seems like he might’ve lied about it. There are rumors that the 4-time All-Pro QB might unretire for the ‘second’ time to play for the Miami Dolphins.

Last year, on the exact same date, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers legend announced his retirement just to make a return to football a month later. He came back to be the signal-caller of the Buccaneers and led them to the postseason. In the first round of the playoffs, the Bucs fell to the Dak Prescott-led Dallas Cowboys, which ended their season.

A few weeks later, Brady announced his retirement via an emotional short video on social media. Everybody believed that this time the 15-time Pro Bowler retired for good after the abysmal 2022 season. But now, the long-time NFL reporter Rich Eisen believes that there is still a little window open for the return of the 7-time Super Bowl Champion.

“This one just blew my mind: Tom Brady might not be done after all,” Eisen said in a recent episode of the Rich Eisen show. “A couple people were just like, ‘Hang on, just you wait.’ And I was like, ‘He’s Instagramming out pictures of his cat.’ But it doesn’t look like he’s getting big and fat, does it? Let it play out. Let’s see who wants what.”

Furthermore, the well-renowned NFL reporter Rich Eisen also revealed that a couple of scouts at the NFL Combine to watch out for the 45-year-old quarterback joining the Miami-based football team.

“The one place that folks are saying to keep an eye out for is Miami,” Eisen said. “If the Dolphins, somehow or some way get a doctor’s report or piece of information from a medical evaluation of Tua [Tagovailoa] that he may not be ready to go, and suddenly there’s Tom Brady sitting in Florida, where his family is located and where he can easily locate himself,” Eisen continued. “Keep an eye out on that, I was told by a couple birdies at the Combine.”

Nevertheless, it is tough to see Tom Brady un-retiring for the second consecutive year, especially considering his age. The 45-year-old QB still showed out last season but it’s tough to see him come back to play, especially for an AFC team.
